Jitendra is the Associate Partner and currently heads the Ahmedabad office of ROYZZ & CO. He is a registered Attorney and also holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering. He handles the Trade Marks team, pan India, while regularly appearing in contentious trade mark opposition/rectification matters. He extensively advises clients on charting their trademark creation and protection strategy.

 

He has been an active litigator and also has hands-on experience in handling arbitration procedures. He assisted in advising to various corporations working in the field of Renewable Energy.

 

He has been enlisted by the office of Controller General for Patents, Designs and Trade Marks as Start-up Facilitator (Trade Marks). He has extensive knowledge of working in the Indian Trade Marks Registry, Ahmedabad, having worked as a Hearing Officer himself. As Hearing Officer, he disposed more than 275 trade mark opposition/rectification matters by passing reasoned orders as per the provisions of the Indian Trade Marks law.

 

He has delivered talks and conducted IPR awareness workshops in collaboration with Dept. of Science & Technology, Govt. of Rajasthan. He has also authored an Info Book on registered GIs of Rajasthan in the year 2021. His unique qualifications give him a good grasp of the client innovations and inventions, which in turn translate to better and secure protection for the client.
